To all Rixown Collie owners there is a Collie Fun Day on 9 April at the German Shepherd Dog rings, Bill Spilstead Complex, 44 Luddenham Rd, Erskine Park. Collies & Children most welcome there will be games, education and lots of fun stuff for all ages - two legged & four. I look forward to seeing you all there.


Feb - Oberon Show Society - Archie won Best of Breed, Australian Bred in Group and attained his championship title, he will now be Australian Champion Rixown Laird oth Manor. Amy won the Bitch Challenge & Runner up Best of Breed.

2011
Nov - Orange Kennel Club Show - Sunday - Amy wins Best of Breed and Maggie Runner up Best of Breed.

Nov - Orange Kennel Club Show - Saturday. EM wins Best of Breed & Amy Reserve Bitch Challenge & Puppy in Group.

Oct - Collie Club of NSW Show - Maggie - Reserve Challenge Bitch & Junior in Show, Casey at her final show won Veteran 10yrs & over in Show and Best Coated. Amy 2nd in Class. Casey was 11 yrs old the day before the show and has won the Gadenine Shades of Gold Trophy for Best Coated three times.

Oct - Western Region Working Dog Show (Sat) Maggie won Best of Breed (13 pts) and Amy got Minor Puppy in Show.

Aug - Olly & Archie are the proud parents of 8 puppies, 1 Blue Male, 2 Blue females, & 5 tri males, mother & babies all doing well so far. They were born between midnight & 5am today Sunday 28 August.

Aug - ACT Ladies Kennel Club - Maggie Bitch Challenge & RUBOB, Amy - Minor Puppy in Group.

Jun - ACT Combined Collie Show - Archie won Dog Challenge (16 pts), Amy & Maggie both won their classes & Olly got 2nd in class.

May - Collie Club of NSW Open & Championship Shows Archie got 2 2nds, Amy 1st & 3rd, Maggie a 2nd, Olly got 1st & Australian Bred in Show, Casey won Veteran 10yrs & over in Show, Max won Best of Breed Neuter.

May - Bathurst DKC - Olly won the Members Sweepstakes.

Mar - Lithgow DKC - Archie win Dog Challenge & Best of Breed and Olly wins Bitch Challenge & Runner up Best of Breed.

Mar - Erskine Park Shows - Olly wins Best of Breed and Maggie wins Puppy in Group on Saturday 19, then Archie wins Dog Challenge & Runner up Best of Breed.

Feb - Olly wins BEST EXHIBIT IN GROUP at Royal Canberra Show under international judge Dr T Jakkel of Hungary. Dr Jakkel commented after General Specials that she is very beautiful and could win everything anywhere in Europe.

2010
Dec - Em gave birth to 6 puppies on Christmas Eve, 4 sable girls, 1 sable boy and 1 tri boy. Mum & babies all healthy.

Dec - Olly wins Reserve Challenge Bitch & Maggie wins Minor Puppy in Group.

Nov - Spring Fair (Fri) Maggie wins Minor Puppy in Breed and Reserve Challenge Bitch, excellent result for someone only just 6 months old.

Nov - Collie Club of NSW Champ Show Archie, EM & Casey all win 1st in Class, Olly 3rd in Class, Max 2nd in Class. Em won Best Shaded Sable. Casey won Veteran in Show (10yrs & over), Best Coated - the Ch. Gadenine Shades of Gold Trophy and also won the Ch. Cathkin Nikita Trophy for the top producing Dam under UK Collie Specialist.

Nov - Olly wins Best of Breed (17 pts) at the Working Dog Club of NSW under UK Collie Specialist
Oct - Maggie wins Baby in Show at Western Region Working Dog Club (Saturday)
Sept - Archie wins Best of Breed and Maggie wins Baby in Show at Molong Show Society
July - Archie wins Best of Breed and Junior in Group at Rylstone Kandos & District Dog Club on Sunday. 
July - Shah wins Best Neuter in Group at Rylstone Kandos & District Dog Club both Saturday & Sunday.
May - Collie Club Championship Show - Archie won his class and his brother Max won Neuter in Show. 
May - Olly gave birth to 4 puppies 2 tri & 2 blue
May - Bathurst & District Kennel Club - Archie was Best of Breed each day and Junior in Group on the Sunday
April - Collie Club Open Show - Olly was Runner up Best in Show & Best Gaited & Archie won Puppy in Show
April - Sydney Royal - Archie won his class and was Puppy in Breed

May - Collie National of NSW - Olly 6th in class of 22

Mar - Collie Club Open Show - Casey won Best Veteran in Show 7-10 yrs
